Spanish rifles

This page is under construction and captions and notes of historical interest will be added. I would appreciate any comments.

Spanish "Destroyer" carbine in 9 mm Largo (Bergman). Used by the Civil Guard (national police) although there is some debate as to exactly who (in Spain) used this rifle.

Dear Sir: In the location where the Spanish riffles are located there is a 9 mm long destructor riffle also called destroyer in Spain. This firearm was never licensed in the Civil Guard, nor in any police force. It was however licensed to the private security, private vigilante and was very used by the “Somaten”, a type of militia that helps the police force in maintaining public order.

Attentively yours, Anacleto Lopez (Civil Guard)
