Reichsrevolver, 11 mm. The German military pistol prior to the Luger (P08)

Note the safety lever below the hammer on the left side of the gun.

For a unique experience try: www.altearmee.de . A German reenacting site for the old Imperial German Army, 1870 - 1919.

Walther model 9 in 25 acp (about 3" overall length)

This a German Langenhan automatic in 7.65 mm. It is of WWI vintage. This one is marked, "F. L. Selbstlader". As the man who sold it to me said, "shows signs of having been carried next to a sweating body in the tropics for a long time"! It was picked up in Vietnam by a GI.

Ortiges pistol, mid production, with Ortiges' name still on pistol and his monogram on the grips. 380 or 9 mm

Saur model 38H with German proofs. But for the war it would have compeated well with the Mauser HSc and the Walther PPK. As it was, total production went to the military.

Two Mauser Model 10's (1910) in 6.35 mm (25 auto). Upper with "Franzite" grips and the lower with a one piece wooden wrap around grip.

Mauser Model 14 (1914) in 7.65 mm (32 auto). The grips are "Franzite", company now defunct but grips are correct for the period. Nazi proofs on the pistol. Since I put this pistol up on this page I have been contacted by another owner of the same pistol with the same grips! Maybe I was too fast in being critical of these grips.
