1876 Mauser (this one was the short rifle or Jagerbuchse). A derivative of the first Mauser, 1871 in 11 mm (this one is "sporterized").

For a unique experience try: www.altearmee.de . A German reenacting site for the old Imperial German Army, 1870 - 1919.

Kar 98k "last ditch" rifle (DOT 1944). No butt plate or bayonet lug, stamped metal parts, pistol grip has large palm swell on both sides. Trigger guard was "bashed" in by MP's to demil this gun. It was a battle field pickup in Vietnam, of all places. Lend lease??

22 cal conversion kit for the 98K made by Erma Corp.
